Nott’m Forest may have believed they had a chance against a Brighton side that had not secured a win in their last three home matches, but they found stability with a crucial victory at Brentford last week, alleviating their own relegation worries. Hürzeler’s choice to maintain the same lineup proved beneficial as James Milner made his 655th Premier League appearance after setting the record the previous week. Facing Elliot Anderson, who is anticipated to represent England at the World Cup this summer, the 40-year-old played nearly the entire match and delivered another steady performance that will enhance his chances of receiving another contract extension.
