Scholarship Description:
Cambridge Trust is offering two kinds of scholarships, namely
1. Cambridge International Scholarship and
2. Vice CHancellor’s Awards
Cambridge International Scholarships – for applicants from other countries than those the United Kingdom or Ireland
Vice-Chancellor’s Award – intended for UK and Irish citizens who must pay the rate at which they live.
The Cambridge Trust is pleased to offer scholarships to candidates who are conducting research that leads to the attainment of a degree of Ph.D. within Cambridge University. The University of Cambridge in the following academic year.

Scholarship Benefits:
The goal of Cambridge’s International Scholarships and Vice-Chancellor’s Award will be to make sure that best-scored students, regardless of their nationality, get full financial assistance to complete their Ph.D. studies.
The Scholarships cover an amount for the university composition fee, as well as an allowance for maintenance that is sufficient for one person.
Eligible Nationalities:
Students from abroad as well as students from Ireland can apply for scholarships in accordance with the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Criteria:
To increase the number of Scholarships given to students, to maximize the number of Scholarships awarded, Trust will, if necessary make it possible to transfer recipients from Cambridge International Scholarships and Vice-Chancellor’s Awards to other full-cost scholarships with partners, UK Research Councils or Departments or Colleges that are willing to offer either the whole amount or a part of the award.
If a portion that is the price of scholarships is paid in exchange for a part of the cost, the Trust will cover the remainder.
If a student is awarded an award of full cost through any organization (excluding Gates Cambridge and Harding) the grant of a grant from the Trust will expire and you will be given the title of Honorary Trust Scholar’. It allows you to attend Trust events but has no value in terms of money. If you’ve accepted the Gates Cambridge Scholarship or a Harding Distinguished Postgraduate Scholarship, any award you receive from the Trust that is offered, even ones with honorary status will expire immediately.
Application Procedure:
Students who plan to begin their PhDs during the following academic year should submit their applications by 1 November 2022 or on 5 January 2023 whichever date is suitable for your program. Check out this Postgraduate Admissions webpage ‘Application & Deadlines for Funding’.
