Production Workers: Aid production workers by carrying out tasks that require less expertise. The duties include providing or holding equipment or materials as well as cleaning the work areas and equipment.

Responsible for helping with the manufacturing process in factories. Moving carts and dollies, with things on them, removes trucks and boxes and loads the items onto belt conveyors. Assists in cleaning.

Primary Responsibilities

  •  Stop the machine and start it up.  
  •  Assist in the production line of factories.  
  •   Clean production area.  
  •  Mop, sweep, and then clean the obstructions.  
  •  Take items off and then load them onto carts, machines, and dollies.  
  •  Feed or place the items on equipment to process.  
  •  Lubricate equipment.  
  •  Measure and pour the ingredients.  
  •  Check for conformity to specifications.  
  •  The valves are used to regulate the flow of gas or liquids.  
  •  Mix ingredients.  
  •  Remove the damaged or ineffective equipment from the machine.  
  •  Note parts for identification.  
  •  Find the length of the extruded object.  
  •  Put the equipment on the conveyor belts to allow further processing.  
  •  Remove the machine and product attachments.  
  •  Scrape off the scrap material.  
  •  Learn to read and interpret gauges and read them to understand.  
  •  Recording data.  
  •  Process equipment to load and unload.  
  •  Ship products that are finished.  
  •  Put the materials in the machine the hopper of the machine.  
  •  Follow the instructions of supervisors.

Particular Skills        Clean equipment and immediate work areas      Examine the products and packaging for defects in the basic quality of the product.      Transportation of raw materials as well as finished products and packaging materials      Measure and pour ingredients into hoppers for grinding and mixing machines.    Handling up to 23kg (50 pounds)      

Work Settings        Establishment of a meat processing plant and/or packing plant.
